Amy Aschyan is an associate attorney in Floyd Skeren Manukian Langevin, LLP’s Pasadena office. Prior to law school, Ms. Aschyan worked with now-retired Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board Judge, George A. Schulman, when he was an applicant’s attorney. After Mr. Schulman closed his practice and became a WCAB Judge, Ms. Aschyan moved into civil litigation until her acceptance to law school. She attended the University of La Verne, College of Law, where she earned two CALI awards – one in Legal Writing and the other in Arbitration. After graduating from law school and while waiting for her California Bar Examination results, Ms. Aschyan reentered the Workers’ Compensation field, except this time on the other side. Her experience working on both the plaintiff and defense side, allows her to provide a unique perspective on her approach to, and method of, handling cases. Ms. Aschyan focuses on the importance of providing the best service to her clients and of efficiently moving each case towards resolution in the most cost-effective manner.
