Richard Jackman is affiliated with the Law Offices of Floyd Skeren Manukian Langevin in an of counsel position. Mr. Jackman graduated from UCLA with a major in political science, with his graduate studies in the same discipline at Purdue University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Loyola Law School, where he was on Dean’s list and a member of both the Student/Faculty Curriculum Committee and the Student Council. He is a member of the State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association. Prior to embarking on his legal career, he worked for Matthew Bender in their Electronic Publishing Division and was the administrator and program director for a juvenile delinquency prevention foundation. He continues to be actively involved in non-profit organizations.
In nearly thirty years of workers’ compensation practice, he has provided representation to insurance carriers, third party administrators, school districts, governmental entities, and uninsured employers in all areas of workers’ compensation defense, to include Labor Code 132a discrimination and Labor Code 4553 serious and willful misconduct matters. Experienced in all aspects of workers’ compensation, Mr. Jackman has lectured for both applicant and defense bar associations.
