Erica S. Willis is an Assistant Managing Attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd Skeren Manukian Langevin, LLP, in the firm’s Westlake Village office. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge and her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in December 2004.
Ms. Willis began practicing workers’ compensation defense law in 2006 and became a Certified Specialist in 2011. She handles all phases of workers’ compensation defense, including fraud detection and referral, 132(a) discrimination defense, and defense of serious and willful claims. Ms. Willis has extensive litigation experience, and as an aggressive litigator is frequently able to obtain “take nothings” for her clients, both on case-in-chief and Medical Provider Network issues. She has trained other attorneys on MPNs and assisted them with preparation for successful litigation, resulting in the reestablishment of medical control, disallowances of hundreds of thousands of dollars in liens, and control over case direction.
